Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Nepalese Journal of ENT Head & Neck Surgery allow readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and allow readers to use them for any other lawful purpose, as long as the author and journal are properly credited, which ensures maximum dissemination and a wider impact of our publications which is available online freely. Authors do not have to pay for publication of articles.
Research and Publication Ethics Policy
The Editor-in-Chief/Editors of the Nepalese Journal of ENT Head & Neck Surgery is responsible for deciding regarding research papers/articles submitted to the journal to be published. The publishing decision is based on the recommendation of the journal's reviewers. An ethical approval letter will be compulsory for all research articles submitted to Nepalese Journal of ENT Head & Neck Surgery. Maintaining research integrity is shared responsibility among readers, researchers, authors, peer reviewers, and editors. We take great care to make sure that the research article has maintained such integrity. However, if you suspect any misconduct in our published article, please report to us. Nepalese Journal of ENT Head & Neck Surgery reserve the right to investigate misconduct in any suspected article submitted or published in the Nepalese Journal of ENT Head & Neck Surgery. We will collaborate and communicate with relevant and concerned authorities to maintain ethics in research and publication. The Editor-in-Chief /Editors may be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The Editor-in-Chief/Editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making this decision
Confidentiality
The Editor-in-Chief/Editor, Reviewers and any Editorial Staffs will not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher. Articles will be published in the Journal after peer reviewing, under the “Blind Review” process. The reviewers advise the Editor-in-Chief/Editors in making the editorial decision. The Editor-in-Chief/Editors communicates with authors, as required, and helps them in improving quality of their research paper if necessary. The reviewers are blinded regarding the author's identity and reviewers' comments are confidential and before passing on to the author will be made anonymous. The names of the reviewers remain strictly confidential; with their identities known only to the Editor-in-Chief/Editors.
Archiving policies
Society of Otolaryngologists of Nepal deposits the articles that it publishes in digital archives to ensure long-term digital preservation. Society of Otolaryngologists of Nepal allows free access (Open Access) to its published articles and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional/subject-based repository.
The entire contents of the journals published by Society of Otolaryngologists of Nepal are protected under Nepalese and international copyrights. The publisher, however, grants to all users a free, irrevocable, perpetual right of access to, and a license to copy, use, distribute, perform and display the work publicly and to make and distribute derivative works in any digital medium for any reasonable non-commercial purpose, subject to proper attribution of authorship and ownership of the rights.
Privacy Policy
The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
Copyright

Conflict of Interest
We request the author, peer reviewer, editors and editorial staffs to disclose any potential conflict of interest related to article and publishing process. We request authors to use Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form prepared by ICMJE which is a Uniform Disclosure Form for Potential Conflicts of Interest as a means of promoting a standardised approach to such declarations. Plagiarism
Nepalese Journal of ENT Head & Neck Surgery takes issues of copyright infringement, plagiarism or other breaches of best practice in publication very seriously. We seek to protect the rights of our authors and we always investigate claims of plagiarism or misuse of published articles. Equally, we seek to protect the reputation of the journal against malpractice. Submitted articles may be checked with duplication-checking software. Where an article, for example, is found to have plagiarised other work or included third-party copyright material without permission or with insufficient acknowledgement, or where the authorship of the article is contested, we reserve the right to take action including, but not limited to: publishing an erratum or corrigendum (correction); retracting the article; taking up the matter with the head of department or dean of the author's institution and/or relevant academic bodies or societies; or taking appropriate legal action.
